USA, ca. 1956. A sculptural side table designed by Eero Saarinen for Knoll. Of recent manufacture, it features a white cast-aluminum tulip style base with durable beveled laminate round top. Inspired by a drop of high-viscosity liquid, Saarinen’s intention was to, “clear up the slum of legs in the US home.” A versatile staple of modern design in overall very good condition.
