USA, ca. 2000. Two tulip style armchairs from Eero Saarinen’s Pedestal Collection for Knoll. Originally designed in 1957, these more recent models each feature a molded fiberglass shell supported by a powder coated cast aluminum swivel base. Slightly metallic silver gray seat cushions are unexpected and ensure comfort. Sculptural, supremely versatile, and in excellent condition. Dimensions: 26” wide x 23.25” deep x 32” high; 18.5” seat height.
