USA, ca. 1950s. A woven wicker accent or foot stool by American designer Tony Paul. Features a round top supported three turned, tapered legs. A Native of the Bronx, Paul studied at the Pratt Institute, and was the recipient of MoMA’s Good Design Award during his career. A folky yet modern interpretation of a classic milking stool. In overall excellent vintage condition with honest patina.
