Constructed of porcelain with sand, glaze, and oxides, these curious vases are inspired by 17th century tulipieres, which came into existence during the wild tulip mania that swept the Dutch Republic. Completely watertight, these vessels are intended for fresh floral design, and display flowers beautifully. Each features intricate hand-built form with minimal cobalt glazing, which emphasizes the clay body. A seasonal series, each tulipiere is completely unique.
Each measures approximately 5” wide x 5” deep x 10.5” high.
