China, ca. 1940s or 1950s. An attractive pair of famille jaune handmade ceramic table lamps. Each features octagonal baluster shape with blue floral decoration over yellow glaze. Nicely mounted with black wood bases and brass fittings. New linen shades provide a pleasing contrast to more traditional form. Condition is excellent. Dimensions: 9.5” diameter x 31.5” high; 17.25” diameter shade.
