Canada, ca. 1960s. A fine pair of Model 100 stoneware table lamps by Gunnar and Lotte Bostlund. Each features teardrop shape base finished in matte bone white glaze. Tapered fiberglass and jute lampshades are original and create a lovely, warm light. Originally from Copenhagen, the Bostlund family made their way to Toronto in the early 1950s. By the 1960s, their handmade lamps were retailed by stores such Georg Jensen and B. Altman. Both in excellent vintage condition with impressive scale.
