USA, ca. 1960s. A colorful abstract painting by New York/Florida artist Edna Glaubman (1919-1986). Active in Miami from 1961 to 1986, Glaubmab was part of the original Coconut Grove Arts Movement. She studied at the Art Students League in Woodstock and New York City, and was a graduate of the Parsons School of Fine & Applied Arts. An early user of acrylic paints, Glaubman also experimented with a variety of materials from metal and clay to resins and polymers. Features cubist composition in warm tones of green, red, and yellow with applied medium. Signed and in overall excellent vintage condition with period frame. Dimensions: 22.5” wide x 22” high x 1.75” deep.
