A five-piece sterling silver coffee and tea service in the "Royal Danish" pattern by International Silver, circa 1940s or 1950s. Featuring a coffee pot, tea pot, cream/milk jug, covered sugar bowl, and waste bowl. The coffee pot, tea pot and sugar bowl are each capped with stylized acorn finial. Stamped manufacturer's marks to underside. Introduced in 1939, "Royal Danish" was an American response to the designs of Danish silversmith Georg Jensen, which combined Modernist elements with classic European forms.
