PK22 Lounge Chair

PK22 Lounge Chair

$2,800.00

Denmark, ca. 1956. A nice early example of Poul Kjærholm’s PK 22 lounge chair manufactured by E. Kold Christiansen. Most likely produced in the 1960s. Features brushed steel frame with woven wicker seat. Designed from a single sheet of steel, and featuring a type of aviation screw developed during World War I, the PK 22 was an instant commercial success. In 1957, the chair won the Grand Prix at Milan’s Triennale. In overall excellent vintage condition with nice patina to wicker. Some minor oxidation to metal frame, which we prefer as is. Dimensions: 25” wide x 27” deep x 28” high - 13” seat height. Item: 1000-8362.
