USA, ca. 2020. An attractive pair of Navy or Model 111 Chairs by Emeco. Originally designed in 1944 by Wilton C. Dinges, and executed in aluminum, these chairs were first used as lightweight, comfortable seating on American submarines. As a contemporary take on the design, this set of plastic chairs is manufactured from over 200 recycled bottles. Durable, comfortable and in overall excellent condition. Flint gray color is pleasing both indoors and out. Dimensions: 15.5” wide x 15.5” deep x 35” high - 18.5” seat height. Item: 2796-31.
