Morocco, 20th Century. A Berber boucherouite cotton rag rug fashioned from recycled textiles. A playful and visually compelling style of rug created out of a need for warmth in areas where there is little access to wool. Shaggy pile makes for a comfortable rug underfoot. In very good vintage condition.
