USA, ca. 2020. A contemporary Model 73 Womb Settee originally designed by Eero Saarinen for Knoll in 1948. Developed in anticipation of Saarinen’s first big architectural commission, the General Motors Technical Center in Warren Michigan, the fit-for-two settee was only produced for three years until being revisited by Knoll in 2012. This recent version features foam-covered fiberglass shell upholstered in Paprika Crossroads, supported by polished chrome base. Exceptionally comfortable and in mint condition.
