Denmark, ca. 1950s. A collectable Model 148 nightstand or side table by Børge Mogensen for Søborg Møbelfabrik. As with all of Mogensen’s work, this piece is thoughtfully designed with subtle details such as rounded, integrated legs, a stylish raised lip to keep things from going bump in the night, a dovetailed storage drawer perfect for holding the essentials, and a small shelf to keep reading materials, etc. Recently refinished and in excellent vintage condition.
