Rwanda, ca. mid 20th century. Two beautiful yet rustic milk jugs from the Tutsi. Each features a cylindrical form hand-carved from a single piece of wood. Aluminum repairs create a modern feel and pleasing combination of materials. Used to collect milk and transport food, these have become increasingly difficult for us to find. Both in overall excellent vintage condition with appropriate signs of age and use. Priced individually.
