USA, ca. 1970s. A pretty wild set of 12 studio made stoneware plates. Each features rustic army green glaze with unique hand-applied decoration that brings to mind all manner of things from samurai helmets to Rorschach tests to spaceships. While we have not been able to determine the artist, each appears to be signed Scarlett. Well executed, otherworldly, and in overall excellent condition. Purportedly acquired in California in the 1970s. BYOLSD. Dimensions: 10.75” diameter x 1.5” high.
