USA, ca. 1960s. An absolutely gigantic ceramic table lamp that brings to mind the work of Design Technics or Lotte Bostlund. Features spherical base with dramatically tapered neck. Original large tapered linen shade is both playful and impactful. Acquired in California, the fact that this lamp survived a cross-country journey strapped into a backseat is quite endearing to us. Warm marigold yellow glaze is punchy and looks fabulous when illuminated. Condition is excellent. Dimensions: 17” diameter (base) x 39” high; 21” diameter (shade).
