USA, ca. 1950s. A fun set of five counter stools by Arthur Umanoff. Each features a black iron base with slatted wood seat and back. While originally natural birch, these were later finished in punchy enamel paint, which we were attracted to for its somewhat folky feel. Charming, sturdy, and with honest, age appropriate wear.
Dimensions: 17” wide x 16” deep x 34.25” high; 23” seat height.
