USA, late 19th century. A charming antique chimney cabinet in old blue-green paint. Clearly homemade and fashioned from found materials, chimney cabinets are traditionally shallow cupboards designed to make the most of odd or slim spaces. Features primitive construction with hinged door and six interior shelves. Period hardware and plenty of signs of life add to its appeal. Would be great in a bathroom, foyer, or wherever a little extra storage is required. In nicely distressed antique condition - yet sturdy and ready for use.
