Denmark, ca. 1960s. An impressive and rare dining table by Arne Hovmand-Olsen for Mogens Kold. Features a large oval top supported by a wide apron with integrated turned and tapered legs. Top opens to reveal two self-storing butterfly leaves, which easily increases seating capacity to ten, possibly twelve, dining companions. In this configuration, the cantilevered top can easily fit two or three guests at each end. Sturdy and quite versatile, this table is sure to become the centerpiece of many family meals. Professionally refinished and in excellent condition.
Dimensions: 83” long x 43.75” wide x 28.75” high; each leaf measures 19.75”. Total length of 122.5” when both leaves open.
